Ottley Controls Ltd - web transportation consultants -was started in 2001 by Richard Ottley, after spending over twenty years specialising in tension measurement & control for a wide range of industries. During that time many systems were supplied to our clients, which covered the web transportation field. These ranged from simple unwinds to more specialist machines, and even complete turnkey contracts.
At that time, a need was seen in the market place for a dedicated company in the web transportation field. Whilst it is always possible to purchase individual items from different manufacturers, such as brakes, controls etc - quite often this might not be the best combination for a client's specific requirements.
We offer web transportation advice and supply all necessary equipment, based on the client’s actual requirements, including of course the final costings.
In house web transportation instruction and training courses are offered, as are loadcell and tension system calibration, commissioning.
