Ottley Controls Ltd - was started in 2001 by Richard Ottley, after spending over twenty years specialising in web and wire tension measurement & control for a wide range of industries. During that time, many systems were supplied to clients, mainly throughout the UK and Western Europe. These ranged from simple unwinds to more specialist machines, and even complete turnkey contracts.
At that time, a need was seen in the market place for a dedicated company in the web transport field. Whilst it is always possible to purchase individual items from different manufacturers, such as brakes, controls etc – and put then together as a working system, often this may not be the best combination for a client's specific requirements.
Therefore, we offer web transport advice as well as supply all the necessary equipment, which is based on the client’s actual requirements, including of course their budget.
