Web transport equipment can be applied to any machine that processes a flexible material (web, wire, etc), or which can be wound onto reels or coils. This encompassing a wide range of materials from individual strands of glass fibre, as thick as a human hair - for optical fibre telecommunication cables, through to large power cables, heavy steel strip, paper, plastic films, etc.
Operating tensions can range from a few grammes for tissue, and similar materials, to many tonnes for the steel industry & heavy cable industries. We have supplied systems to machines with operating speeds from one metre per minutes to well over 1000 metres per minute.
