Consultancy
A full consultancy service from the first meeting and thoughts, through to the design stage, and specification of a web transport system.
Annual calibration
Many clients appreciate the assurance of an annual calibration check, to ensure that their tension controls and other web transport equipment are in proper order. The cost of such visits is minimal, often shared with other clients in the local area. The outlay cost of such visits is quickly repaid in terms of better productivity, and fewer unexpected breakdowns. Ottley Controls undertake the calibration and service of all makes & types of tension measurement & control systems.
Training
We undertake comprehensive tension control and web transport training courses – normally at the client premises. Each training course will be tailored to suit the type of equipment & machines in operation at the client's workplace.
The training is both theoretical and “hands on” with each person receiving a detailed set of course notes for future reference.
Machine investigation
We undertake detailed investigations into the web transport systems on any web converting machine - and advise improvements accordingly in a full written report. This unbiased approach often gives savings well in excess of the cost of our initial investigation.
